Tate Center Fresh Foods

Daniel Island Woodworks was selected to work with the architects and construction firm to build the interior furnishings for this restaurant. Since this restaurant has high diner volume, there are several food stations. These stations include a grill station with hot & cold food bar, a pizza station (with brick oven), a salad bar station, and a desert station. Many factors are important to the successful implementation of these food bars:
- must support a very active kitchen staff with 10 or more chefs and line cooks active simultaneously
- must be very durable but still have a superb aesthetic that is representative of Fresh Foods Company
- have plenty of durable surface area to accommodate a large number of simultaneous patrons
- utilize wood and stainless steel
This project has been a great success, supporting many, many patrons on a daily basis. Check out the project image below of one of the food stations.
